Fatima College U19 Premier team lost to Naparima College by 4 wickets on Tuesday 27th February.

The game played at Fatima Grounds, saw Fatima batting first. After getting to a good position of 187 for 4 after 36 overs the team struggled to eventually finish on 216 for 8 off their allotted 50 overs.

Isaiah Fernandes top scored with 58. Zachary Siewah continued his good run with another 48, Adrian Mahase and Niall Maingot chipped in with 39 and 33, respectively.

Naparima College got off to a shaky start losing an early wicket in the first over to Caiden Mack but recovered well to eventually reach their target making 220 for 6 in the 47th over. Only Zachary Siewah with 2 for 43 offered any resistance. Niall Maingot took off the gloves to assist, which resulted in him being the most economical bowler with 1 for 39 off his 9 overs.

Fatima College will be on a bye for the next round as El Dorado East Secondary has forfeited their remaining games.

Fatima College plays Princes Town West Secondary on March 12th at Fatima Grounds. Game starts at 10:00 a.m.
