First Defeat

On Thursday 22nd February the SSCL North U16 league began with Fatima entering an A and B team. The Fatima College U16B team played Queens Royal College (QRC) at QRC grounds where they encountered their first defeat against a strong opponent. The team is looking forward to greater success as the season progresses. The Fatima College U16 A team played St. Anthony’s College at St. Anthony’s grounds where they won by 3 wickets in a well contested game. St.Anthony's won the toss and batted first getting 150 for 7 off their 30 overs. Zakai Pantin picked up 3wks with his off breaks and Davis Guerra 2wks with his medium pace. The partnerships of Captain Maleek Lewis and Alex Nicholas as well as Kaiden Pollard and Zander Castanada brought the game home for Fatima College.

On Thursday 29th February the Fatima U16 B team plays St. Anthony’s College at St. Anthony’s grounds while the Fatima U16 A team will play Diego Martin Central at Fatima College grounds.
