66-Run Win!

The Fatima College U19 Cricket Team returned to action on Tuesday 19th March in the round of 16 Intercol T20 after finishing 4th in the Secondary Schools Cricket League (SSCL) North Zone Competition. This placement was due to the last two (2) schools, El Dorado East Secondary and Princes Town West Secondary, forfeiting their league games.

The Intercol T20 game, Fatima College vs Rio Claro West, was played at Fatima grounds with the host winning the toss and taking first strike. Fatima scored an imposing 181 for 3 in their 20 overs. Skipper Joshua Davis made 60 runs and Isaiah Fernandes batted through the innings scoring 100 not out. His first century for his school. In reply Rio Claro West scored 118 for 8 off their 20 overs. Zachary Siewah grabbed 3 wickets for 18 runs and Joshua Davis 2 wickets for 27 runs.

Fatima College won the game by 68 runs and will meet Naparima College in the quarter final on April 11th at a venue to be decided.
